On March 12, 2025, in the House of friendship of Almaty, leading experts, representatives of the scientific community gathered for the presentation of the collection of scientific papers of the international scientific and practical conference "ethnopolitics and identity in Kazakhstan", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the assembly of people of Kazakhstan. The Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and religious studies initiated the presentation and release of a scientific collection containing reports and articles by leading Kazakh and foreign anthropologists, historians, political scientists, sociologists and philosophers.

The authors of the collection devoted their reports and articles to the study of intercultural and interethnic interaction, the formation of Kazakh and Kazakh identity, migration, ethnic and civic identity, multiculturalism, tribalism and other aspects of nation building in Kazakhstan and in different countries of the world. The collection is an important contribution to the scientific understanding of the main issues related to the ethnopolitical situation in the country and is intended for Kazakhstani scientists, teachers, students, doctoral students and undergraduates, as well as the general public interested in the issues of ethnopolitics, civil and ethnic identity formation, interethnic relations and national construction.
