In May-June 2024, the staff of the Center for Digital Social and Humanities Sciences at the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religion Studies under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan underwent advanced training courses on data analysis methods.
The courses were conducted by Professor Alexey Belyanin, PhD, from AlmaU. The advanced training program included the use of the R programming language for statistical data analysis, the development of linear regression models for predicting variable changes, and methods for identifying multicollinearity of factors.
The staff of the Center for Digital Social and Humanities Sciences apply the acquired knowledge in analyzing the results of sociological research conducted on behalf of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religion Studies within the framework of grant-based scientific research. This allows them to identify latent trends in social dynamics and make qualitatively new conclusions based on data analytics.
