The First Digital Platform for Sociological Data in Kazakhstan Presented in Almaty

In the anticipation of Science Day, the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies (IFPR) presented the country’s first digital platform for sociological data. Its creation is one of the results of the applied scientific program “Kazakhstani Society in the Context of Digital Transformation: Risks and Prospects”, funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The innovative product was presented to sociologists, analysts, experts, representatives of government institutions, public organizations, and the media.

The new platform is a unique digital tool for collecting, storing, analyzing, and visualizing information on social processes and public opinion in Kazakhstan. It covers a decade of research conducted by the IFPR and includes a centralized data repository along with modules for interactive analysis and visualization. It consists of a two-level access system for users based on a flexible model. At the basic level, free tier of access is available withi research descriptions, methodologies, key trends, and published data. The extended tier, available via subscription, provides access to analytical tools, enabling cross-analysis, identifying correlations, and comparing trends over time.
