Meeting of the Academic Council

Today, March 30, a meeting of the Academic Council was held at the Institute for Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies. During the session, key issues of scientific activity, coordination of research projects, digitalization of science, and the Institute’s development prospects were discussed. Council members exchanged views on improving the efficiency of research work and strengthening the role of the Institute in the scientific sphere.
A report was delivered by Deputy Director General for Strategic Development, Yermek Toktarov, who presented the Institute’s Strategic Development Plan. In his presentation, he outlined key areas aimed at transforming the Institute into a modern research institution, competitive at the international level and focused on addressing significant fundamental and applied challenges. Particular attention was given to the development of human resources, the attraction of leading scholars and young researchers, the expansion of international scientific cooperation, strengthening the interaction between science, the state and society, the development of expert and analytical activities, the popularization of science, and the digitalization of research processes. Target indicators of the strategic plan and their monitoring were also reviewed.
The meeting highlighted the importance of strategic planning and the consolidation of efforts among scholars for the further development of the Institute.
