Today, the Institute for Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies hosted an open meeting with researcher and Doctor of Political Science Nargis Kassenova, Head of the Central Asia Program at Harvard University.
During the meeting, the guest delivered a presentation on the topic: “Challenges of Studying Central Asia in Contemporary Political Science.”
In her presentation, Nargis Kassenova provided an overview of the activities of the Davis Center at Harvard University and its role in advancing research on the post-Soviet space and Central Asia. She also highlighted the Center’s key research areas and ongoing initiatives.
Particular attention was devoted to interdisciplinary research projects aimed at analyzing the region’s political transformations, developing academic partnerships, supporting early-career researchers, and expanding international scientific cooperation in the field of Central Asian studies.
