On February 12, 2026, a meeting of the Scientific and Expert Group of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and the Club of Young Scientists of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the Almaty House of Friendship in Almaty in support of the new Constitution of Kazakhstan, dedicated to the upcoming referendum.
The main purpose of the meeting was to explain the essence of constitutional reforms to young people, promote the participation of civil society, and foster a culture of open and meaningful dialogue. During the discussion, participants addressed the country’s strategic development priorities, the importance of legal reforms for society, and the responsibility of young people for the future of the state. The open debate format enabled participants to freely exchange views and ask questions to experts.
The meeting was moderated by M. Shaikemeliev, Chairman of the Research Institute of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Almaty.
