If we follow historical justice, it is necessary to recall that in early December 1991, the leaders of the three republics: Russia, Ukraine and Belarus signed the Belovezhskaya Agreement on the denunciation of the Union Treaty of 1922. In fact, the collapse of the USSR was legally formalized. On December 10, 1991, the Supreme Council decided to rename the Kazakh SSR to the Republic of Kazakhstan, and on December 16, 1991, the supreme legislative body proclaimed the state independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
