After the launch of the project to transport Russian gas through the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Vladimir Putin held talks.

During the meeting, the heads of state discussed the current state of strategic partnership between the two countries and the prospects for further strengthening relations. He also noted the importance of continuing cooperation in trade, economic, energy, transport and logistics and other areas.
