On June 19, 2025, the RSE on the REM "Institute of Philosophy, Political Science, and Religious Studies" of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan is holding an international scientific and practical conference on the topic "Abai's Philosophy and the Issues of Social Justice in the Context of Global Transformations". This international scientific and practical conference is being held as part of the implementation of the fundamental scientific research project "Contemporary Conceptual Approaches to the Content of Justice and Its Implementation in Kazakhstani Society within the Context of Global Transformations." Conference Goal: The conference aims to analyze Abai's philosophical ideas in the context of social justice issues within the framework of modern sociohumanitarian knowledge, to rethink the key ideas and perspectives of his philosophical legacy, which has played a significant ethnocultural role in the history of the Kazakh people and the formation of their cultural identity. Main Directions: - Abai's philosophy as a key factor in preserving and strengthening the national identity of the people and the cultural code of the Kazakh nation, as well as the role and significance of the thinker's philosophical teachings in the era of global transformations; - The transformation of socio-political ideas in Kazakh philosophy within the changing spiritual reality of Kazakhstan; - A conceptual understanding of the role of social justice as a factor in the sustainable and progressive development of Kazakhstani society.
