The Institute’s journals, Adam Alemi and Al-Farabi, hold strong positions in the international academic arena thanks to their indexing in reputable scientometric databases and catalogs such as SciLit, Sudoc, and ROAD. The stable presence of these national periodicals on such platforms ensures continuous integration of Kazakhstani social and humanitarian research into the global information flow. This makes the work of our authors accessible to a wide international audience and demonstrates that the editorial policy meets high international publishing standards.
Each of these systems plays a unique role in disseminating scientific knowledge and enhancing the status of the journals:
▫️ The SciLit platform, supported by the Swiss publisher MDPI, uses advanced data aggregation algorithms, significantly increasing the digital discoverability of articles in global search engines.
▫️ Inclusion in the Sudoc catalog provides access to the bibliographic data of the journals for the network of university libraries in France, promoting scientific exchange with the European academic community.
▫️ Meanwhile, the ROAD registry, curated by the ISSN center with support from UNESCO, confirms the journals’ status as authoritative open-access resources.
Placement of Adam Alemi and Al-Farabi materials in these international repositories directly contributes to increased visibility and readership of the publications. For researchers, this means broader dissemination of their ideas and a higher likelihood of being cited by international colleagues.
The Institute continues to pursue a strategy of scientific internationalization, providing scholars with a high-quality, globally visible platform for publishing relevant work in social and humanitarian disciplines.
