“Tokayev’s Political Signature: Between Great Powers, but Not in Their Shadow”
This autumn has become one of the most eventful diplomatic periods.
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev conducted visits to three major global capitals — Beijing, Washington, and Moscow.

“The year 2025 will enter the history of global diplomacy as part of the ‘era of total uncertainty’ — a period marked by the erosion of the established world order, escalating great-power confrontation, and the fragmentation of the international community. In such circumstances, many states have been forced to adopt situational, reactive policies and manual diplomacy. However, few have demonstrated such a well-calibrated and proactive strategy as Kazakhstan. Indeed, in 2025 our country has practically showcased its traditional multi-vector foreign policy.”
