The Constitutional Reform Commission is working on a proposal to enshrine a separate article in the Basic Law on the principles of the secular nature of education and culture.

The need for this initiative was explained by Aigul Sadvokasova, Director General of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science, and Religious Studies and a member of the Constitutional Commission, in an interview with a Kazinform correspondent.
