Graduated from the Biological Faculty of S.M.Kirov Kazakh State University with honors (1981), postgraduate studies at the Institute of Philosophy and Law (1988), Kazakh Institute of Jurisprudence and International Relations (KIPMO) with honors (1999).

From 1991 to the present, she has been working at the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies of the KN MES RK, consistently holding the positions of junior, senior, leading and chief researcher.
From 1998 to 2007, she worked as a Vice-rector for Science at the Kazakh Institute of Jurisprudence and International Relations (KIJIR).
