Opening the event, the Head of State, on behalf of Kazakhstan, the current Chairman of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, as well as on his own behalf, expressed his deep condolences to the entire people and leadership of Iran in connection with the tragic death of the President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of this country. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the states is one of the most important formats of the SCO to address topical issues on a broad agenda.
