The program of the official visit of Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the People's Republic of China was opened by negotiations with Chairman Xi Jinping.

The Chinese leader met the President of Kazakhstan at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. A company of Honor Guard was formed in honor of the distinguished guest. Then the heads of state and their delegations began negotiations in the Great East Hall.
