On September 1, the Center for Religious Studies at the Institute for Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies (IPhPR) held a meeting with Yulia Gradskova, Associate Professor at Södertörn University (Sweden), and Galym Zhussipbek, Professor at SDU University.

The meeting was attended by Almasbek Shagyrbay, Head of the Center; Bakhytzhan Satershinov, Chief Research Fellow; and Research Fellows Asyltay Tasbolat and Nurmukhammed Meimankhoja.

The meeting focused on the specifics of international and Kazakhstani academic discourse in the context of humanities research, research priorities, and historical perspectives. The participants exchanged views on current areas and contemporary approaches in humanities research.

As part of the bilateral meeting, the guests were presented with academic publications prepared by the Institute. A discourse-based interview was also conducted, focusing on current research priorities and academic cooperation.
