07.10.2026
On October 7, the Institute hosted an open discussion of the book “Texturalism: Philosophy After the End of Globality” by philosopher and researcher of contemporary political and civilizational processes Valikhan Tuleshov.
Aigul Sadvokassova, Director General of the Institute, delivered welcoming and congratulatory remarks. She congratulated the author on the publication of the book and emphasized the importance of such academic meetings for fostering professional dialogue and discussing topical issues of contemporary philosophy and socio-political thought.
During the meeting, V. Tuleshov presented the key ideas and conceptual foundations of his book. The author focuses on the philosophical understanding of the world after globality, the transformation of classical perceptions of the contemporary world order, and the transition from a global world to a plurality of civilizational spaces.
Particular attention in the book is given to the interrelationship between philosophy, politics and civilizational dynamics, as well as to the role of Kazakhstan and Central Eurasia in shaping a new global architecture.
The presentation was followed by an open discussion, during which participants exchanged views on the ideas presented in the book and on current issues in contemporary philosophy, geopolitics and civilizational studies.
The event brought together Institute staff, researchers and representatives of the expert community.
