On July 1, 2026, a roundtable discussion entitled “The New Constitution – A New Impetus” was held in Almaty with the participation of the city’s Akim, Darkhan Satybaldy, to mark the entry into force of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event brought together representatives of the academic and expert communities, the creative intelligentsia, government agencies, the Maslikhat, public councils, and veterans’ organizations.
✔️ Representing the Institute for Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies were Deputy Director General for Research Sholpan Jamanbalayeva and Head of the Center for Sociology Shyryn Tlenchiyeva.
During the roundtable, participants discussed the effective implementation of the principles of the new Constitution within the system of public administration, the strengthening of legal culture, the promotion of civic responsibility, the enhancement of public consensus, and the rule of law.
The participants also exchanged views on the contribution of the academic and expert community to the country’s sustainable development, emphasizing the important role of the new Constitution in building a just, open, and effective state.
