On June 22, 2026, the Institute for Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies held a seminar entitled “Principles of Ethics and Integrity in the Civil Service” as part of its Action Plan on Anti-Corruption Measures.
The seminar was delivered by N.D. Tleshaliyev, Head of the Corruption Prevention Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in Almaty.
During the seminar, the key provisions of the anti-corruption legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan were presented. Participants were introduced to the legal nature and definition of corruption, the categories of persons subject to liability for corruption-related offenses, and the principal legal and regulatory acts governing anti-corruption efforts in the country.
Particular attention was paid to compliance with ethical standards, the principles of integrity, and the responsibility of civil servants in preventing corruption.
