On November 28, 2025, the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies held a working meeting with representatives of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. ENU was represented by Symbat Shakirov, Chair of the Ethnomediation Council of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Astana, Head of the Department of Philosophy, PhD; and Asan Amangeldiyev, PhD, Chief Researcher and Head of the scientific project “The Problem of Institutionalizing Conflict Studies in the Countries of the Central Asian Five: Current State and Development Strategy.”

From the Institute, the meeting was attended by researchers from the Center for Comparative Political Studies and the Center for World and Kazakh Philosophy.

During the meeting, the participants discussed ongoing scientific projects, opportunities for joint research, recommendations for developing academic initiatives, and prospects for long-term cooperation between the Institute and the University. The sides emphasized the importance of knowledge exchange and agreed on the key directions for further collaboration.
