Philosophical Reflections on Independence
On December 11, the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies held a methodological seminar of the Center for World and Kazakh Philosophy dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The theme of the event was “Philosophical Reflections on Independence.”

The seminar took place in an atmosphere of substantive discussion, open exchange of scholarly ideas, and deep philosophical reflection on the value of independence. Participants noted that this format allows for a comprehensive analysis of independence from historical, cultural, and spiritual perspectives.

During the seminar, leading researchers of the Center delivered presentations:
• Kulsia Konyrbayeva presented a philosophical analysis of the concept of independence and раскрыла its significance in shaping national self-consciousness.
• Gulnara Omarova, in her presentation “Independence Is an Invaluable Treasure,” emphasized the unique value of independence as the foundation for the sustainable development of the state and society.

As part of the discussion, participants exchanged views on contemporary perspectives for preserving and strengthening independence, highlighting the need for further in-depth study of this topic.
