By a Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the composition of the Қазақстан Халық Кеңесі (Kazakhstan People’s Council) has been approved.

Aigul Kakimbekovna Sadvokassova, Director General of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies, has joined the Kazakhstan People’s Council, the highest consultative body representing the interests of the people of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Council brings together representatives of public associations, the academic and expert communities, professional and ethno-cultural organizations, as well as public figures. Its activities are aimed at promoting nationwide dialogue and strengthening social harmony.

For the Institute, the Director General’s participation in the Council’s work represents a continuation of its research and expert activities in the field of social processes and the development of contemporary Kazakhstani society.
