State Policy of Accord and the Role of the Academic Community

On September 30, 2025, the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies hosted a meeting with Yeraly Lukpanovich Tughzhanov, Adviser to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan and statesman.
During the event, Yeraly Lukpanovich shared his recollections of his work within the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and elaborated on the history of building the state system of interfaith and interethnic accord.
Special attention was given to current issues of strengthening social unity and to the role of the academic and expert communities in this process.
The meeting featured a substantive dialogue between the Institute’s researchers and the government representative on ways to further consolidate harmony in Kazakhstani society.
