Today marked the official opening of the 1st Summer School “From Social Theories to Manageable Data: Building Hybrid Competencies (Social Science * Digital * Policy)”, organized by the Institute for Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies under the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Welcoming the participants, Director General Aigul Sadvokassova highlighted the growing importance of developing hybrid competencies at the intersection of social sciences, digital technologies, and data analysis. She wished the participants productive work, new knowledge, professional growth, and a successful exchange of ideas and experiences.

Over the course of five days, participants of the Summer School will explore contemporary research methodologies, digital tools, and the potential of artificial intelligence. The program also includes training in automated text analysis, visual culture, scientific communication, and the preparation of research proposals.
