IPhPR and the University of Tehran Signed a Memorandum of Cooperation

On October 14, 2025, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies (IPhPR) of the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the University of Tehran (Islamic Republic of Iran).
During the meeting, Aigul Sadvokassova, Director General of IPhPR, and Hossein Aghazadeh, Attaché of the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kazakhstan, discussed a wide range of issues concerning prospects for bilateral cooperation, emphasizing the importance of strengthening scientific and cultural ties between Kazakhstan and Iran.
The Memorandum provides for the implementation of joint research projects, the organization of international conferences, seminars, and round tables, as well as academic exchanges. The parties intend to give priority to such areas as philosophy, religious studies, political science, intercultural dialogue, and the humanities.
The signing of the document marks an important step towards strengthening scientific diplomacy and expanding cultural cooperation between the two countries. In the context of global challenges and transformations, joint efforts on topics of sustainable development, spiritual values, tolerance, and regional stability acquire particular relevance.
Cooperation between IPhPR and the University of Tehran opens up new horizons for integrating Kazakhstani science into the international academic community and serves as an additional impetus for promoting the scientific potential of both countries.
