Information Session: The Danger of Destructive Movements
On October 6, 2025, as part of the activities of the Information and Awareness Group of Almaty, a meeting was held with students of the Faculty of International Relations at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on the topic “The Danger of Destructive Movements.”

During the session, detailed information was presented about the harmful ideological foundations and methods of spreading destructive religious movements of a global nature.

 Nurmukhammed Meimankhozha, Researcher at the Center for Religious Studies of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies (IPhPR), spoke about the characteristics of traditional religious worldviews and their role in countering destructive ideologies. He also highlighted international best practices in combating destructive movements, the importance of spiritual and cultural values in youth education, and the relevance of humanistic initiatives.

The event was organized within the framework of the project “The Path of Yasawi: A Comprehensive Study of the Religious, Philosophical, Literary, and Linguistic Heritage of Traditional Sufi Teaching in Kazakhstan” and was held in an engaging, educational format.
