On March 5, 2026, as part of the activities of the Information and Outreach Group under the Department for Religious Affairs of Almaty, Nurmukhammad Meymankhozha, a researcher at the Center for Religious Studies of the Institute for Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies, held a meeting with employees of the Department of the Bureau of National Statistics for the city of Almaty under the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, within the framework of the topic “Prevention of Extremism and Terrorism,” participants were informed about human rights in a secular state, the dangers of extremism, as well as the basic principles of national legislation in this field. In addition, information was provided on ways to protect oneself from the influence of destructive movements in social networks and the public environment.

During the meeting, employees actively asked questions and exchanged opinions.
