CULTURAL-HISTORICAL HERITAGE OF ZOROASTRIANISM IN THE CONTEXT OF THE EVOLUTION OF THE PEOPLES OF THE EURASIAN CONTINENT

INFORMATION LETTER

On January 25, 2024 from 11.00 am at the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies SC MSHE RK in Almaty will be held the International Scientific and Practical Conference on the theme: «CULTURAL-HISTORICAL HERITAGE OF ZOROASTRIANISM IN THE CONTEXT OF THE EVOLUTION OF THE PEOPLES OF THE EURASIAN CONTINENT».

The purpose of the conference is a complex consideration of scientific-theoretical and practical problems of the cultural and historical heritage of the Zoroastrian doctrine through the prism of comprehension of evolutionary processes in the Eurasian space.

The main directions of the conference:

1.   The heuristic potential of Avesta in the history of world culture.

2.   Historical and cultural origins of Zoroastrianism and its connection with the traditions of the peoples of Central Asia and the Middle East.

3.   The personal phenomenon of Zarathustra: historical-archaeological, philosophical-worldview and linguistic research and experience in comprehending the history of Eurasia.

4.   Historical and comparative analysis of the canons of Zoroastrianism and Tengrianism.

5.   Ancient beliefs in the spiritual and cultural heritage of the peoples of Eurasia: peculiarities of pre-Islamic religious worldviews.

6.   Historical and cultural origins of Zoroastrianism - places of memory Yedil-Zhayyk (Volga-Ural).

7.   Social and ethical views of Bairi Akhun (Bayiri akyn).

8.                     Ethical aspects of the phenomenon of justice in the teachings of East and West.

Working languages of the conference: Kazakh, Russian and English.

To be included in the program, you need to provide the organizing committee with the application form of the participant, the text of the report (article) in electronic form.

Conference materials are planned to be released in electronic format in the form of a scientific collection.

Article Submission Requirements: The volume of the article should be at least 4 pages. At the beginning of the article in the upper right comer, the surname, name and patronymic of the author are indicated, the next line indicates the full place of work, position of the author or authors, place of residence, after an interval from the middle line - the title of the article is indicated in capital letters. Further on the next line: a brief abstract at intervals (at least 100 words) and keywords (no more than 5). There is no dash width. Text 14 pt, 1 spacing, Times New Roman font, references are enclosed in vertical brackets in the text (for example, [1, p. 17]) in the bibliography at the end of the article (the references are numbered in alphabetical order, without dots). All fields are 2 cm. The articles are made in MS WORD*.doc and are also accepted in rtf* format. The file name must match the name of the first author. Graphic images should be placed inside the text in good quality with a mandatory brief annotation.
