The Institute for Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies Continues to Strengthen International Cooperation
The Institute for Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies (IPhPR) hosted a meeting with a delegation from the Institute of Politics and Public Administration (Institute of National Security) of Xinjiang University, People’s Republic of China.

Director General Aigul Sadvokassova warmly welcomed the Chinese colleagues, emphasizing that the development of international scientific cooperation remains one of the Institute’s key strategic priorities. She noted that academic exchange plays an important role in strengthening research partnerships, implementing joint research projects, and expanding cooperation between the academic institutions of Kazakhstan and China.

The Chinese delegation consisted of five scholars specializing in public administration, China’s public policy, the history and contemporary developments of Central Asia, ethnopolitical studies, as well as international relations and Central Asian politics.

During the meeting, the participants discussed promising areas of cooperation, including joint research projects, the organization of international conferences and seminars, the promotion of academic mobility, the exchange of research expertise, and collaborative publishing initiatives. Particular attention was given to the study of contemporary socio-political developments in Central Asia and the advancement of regional and country-specific studies.

Representatives of Xinjiang University introduced the activities of their institute and expressed their interest in expanding academic cooperation with the Institute for Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their mutual commitment to strengthening their partnership, implementing joint scientific initiatives, and fostering long-term academic collaboration.
