METHODOLOGICAL SEMINAR DEDICATED TO THE DAY OF THE REPUBLIC

On October 23, 2025, the Center for World and Kazakh Philosophy of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies held a methodological seminar dedicated to the Day of the Republic. The theme of the event was “The Day of the Republic – a historical milestone that became a prerequisite for gaining state independence.”
During the seminar, participants discussed the historical significance of the Declaration on State Sovereignty of the Republic of Kazakhstan, adopted on October 25, 1990. This document marked a key stage in the formation of an independent Kazakhstan, defining the foundations of state symbols, borders, and foreign policy.
Speakers emphasized the importance of reflecting on historical lessons and preserving generational continuity in strengthening national identity and statehood. Particular attention was given to spiritual values that contribute to social unity and the development of patriotism.
In conclusion, participants stressed that the Day of the Republic is not just a date on the calendar, but a symbol of national unity, historical memory, and the aspiration for a prosperous independent Kazakhstan.
