On January 17, 2026, the fifth cohort of the Analytics School, supported by the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, began its training program. Over 1,000 applications were submitted to participate.

After a competitive selection process, 71 participants were chosen, including Shyryn Tlenchieva, a young researcher and Head of the Sociology Center at the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies, who successfully passed the selection. For each spot, there were 14 applicants.

This year’s program focuses on the theme: “SMART GOVERNANCE: Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence for Effective Management.” Presentations will be prepared across seven key areas:
• Urban Planning, Cities of the Future, and Regional Development
• Energy and Sustainable Infrastructure
• Ecology and Climate Policy
• Agro-Industry and Sustainable Rural Development
• Inclusivity and Social Policy
• Education and Human Capital
• Proactive State Governance

Groups will work on analytical projects, developing skills in teamwork, preparing analytical reports, and decision-making.
