During the Ashyq Alan (“Open Platform”) program, Aigul Sadvokassova, member of the People’s Council of Kazakhstan and Director General of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies, discussed issues related to improving the public administration system and enhancing the effectiveness of reforms outlined in the President’s Address to the Nation.
According to her, Kazakhstan has undergone institutional changes. The next task is to ensure that the established institutions operate effectively. In this regard, the professional competence and accountability of civil servants, as well as the effective use of digitalization and new technologies, are of particular importance.
“We have established institutions, and now we must ensure that they function effectively. The President placed great emphasis not only on the governance system but also on every civil servant. They must be competent, patriotic, and effective in their work. In the era of technological revolution, we must not merely be consumers but active participants in this process,” said A. Sadvokassova.
