On February 2, 2026, the Center for Sociology of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science, and Religious Studies held a scientific and methodological discussion on the topic “The Use of AI Tools in Research Activities.”
During the meeting, participants examined the possibilities of applying artificial intelligence tools in academic work to facilitate routine support tasks, optimize workflows, and improve the efficiency of searching, analyzing, and systematizing scientific information.
The discussion also focused on practical approaches to integrating AI tools into the research process, as well as the potential limitations and risks associated with their use. Special attention was given to issues of ethical application of these technologies, adherence to the principles of academic integrity, and ensuring transparency in working with research data.
