At Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a presentation of the 20th volume of the multi-volume edition “Farabitanu” was held, dedicated to the 1155th anniversary of Abu Nasr al-Farabi. The event was attended by the university leadership, domestic and international philosophers and scholars, faculty members, master’s and doctoral students, as well as library readers.

The Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies (IPhPR) was represented at the academic event by research fellows Gulnar Omarova and Kuanysh Alzhan.

The organizers of the event were the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science and the Al-Farabi Center. As part of the presentation, a book exhibition titled “The Legacy of Al-Farabi” was showcased.

The project leader, renowned scholar Zhakypbek Altaev, delivered a presentation on the scientific approaches used in preparing the multi-volume edition, current trends in Farabi studies, and the significance of this work for both the national and international academic community.
