On October 17, 2025, Yermek Toktarov, Deputy Director General for Strategic Development of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies, took part in the award ceremony for the laureates of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation Prize for achievements in science.

Yermek Toktarov presented awards to the laureates on behalf of the Council on Science under the Foundation. The Council reviewed 44 applications from across Kazakhstan, selecting 9 winners.

Established in 2008, the Prize recognizes outstanding young scientists of Kazakhstan conducting fundamental and applied research in various fields. It is awarded based on a body of scientific achievements, including publications in high-ranking journals, patents obtained, development of practical models, and implementation of research results into practice.
