On August 22 in Almaty, at the library of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a presentation of the collective monograph by experts of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan — “Diplomacy of President Tokayev” — took place. The event brought together leading experts, public figures, as well as representatives of the academic and diplomatic communities.

The monograph offers a profound and vivid perspective on the foreign policy course of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The authors explore three key principles underlying the Head of State’s diplomacy and demonstrate how the country’s foreign policy adapts flexibly to the rapidly changing global landscape. The book also addresses urgent and significant issues — from the crises in Afghanistan and Ukraine to global climate challenges shaping the new reality of international relations.

Leading scholars of the Institute, headed by Director General Aigul Sadvokassova, took part in the presentation of the monograph on behalf of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies.
