On November 14, a meeting was held at School No. 187 in Almaty for students, their parents, and teachers on the topic of “Prevention of Religious Extremism and Terrorism.” The event was organized at the initiative of the Almaty City Department for Religious Affairs.

During the meeting, Meimankhozha Nurmukhammed, Research Fellow at the Center for Religious Studies of IPhPR, spoke to young people about the values of secularism, online extremism, and destructive organizations. Participants were informed about the harm and dangers that extremist ideas pose to the state, society, and individuals, and received detailed guidance on information security measures in social networks.
