COUNCIL OF YOUNG SCIENTISTS: NATIONAL ROUND TABLE ON SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT
On November 28 in Almaty, the National Round Table titled “Strategy for the Development of Young Science: From Problems to Solutions” was held, organized by the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event brought together representatives from councils of young scientists at universities, research institutes, industrial enterprises, and the corporate sector.

In his video address to the participants, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, emphasized:

 “Young scientists are not just a future personnel reserve, but a strategic resource that already today determines the pace and quality of modernization of the country’s scientific system. The Ministry is updating grant and program-targeted funding tools, implementing new project evaluation mechanisms, and strengthening the role of applied science and technology transfer. Our task is to ensure full integration of young Kazakh scientists into the global scientific community, so that you can participate in international projects and develop new technologies on par with leading global knowledge centers.”

Speakers at the event included Aliya Sembaieva – Deputy Chair of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, Didar Batryshev – Vice President of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan under the President, and Maratbek Gabdullin – Chair of the Board of the Kazakh-British Technical University.

Representing the Institute, Senior Researcher Aizhan Moldagalieva and Researcher Aidana Serikbayeva participated in the event.
