Strategic Session at IPhPR: Practical Applications of AI in Social and Humanitarian Research

On November 26, the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science, and Religious Studies held a strategic session titled “Ethics, Practice, and Standards for Using Artificial Intelligence in Social and Humanitarian Sciences.”
During the session, staff from the Center for Digital Social Sciences demonstrated practical applications of artificial intelligence in research activities. Presentations were conducted using multiple digital platforms and included detailed analyses of concrete examples and scenarios for AI implementation in social and humanitarian studies.
Participants were introduced to practical tools for:
• analyzing and systematizing scientific content;
• working with large text corpora;
• structuring research data;
• generating and refining scientific ideas;
• optimizing research processes with AI.
Special attention was given to ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence, adherence to principles of academic integrity, and the need to establish uniform standards for AI integration into scientific practice.
The strategic session served as a platform for exchanging experiences, discussing current challenges, and showcasing the real potential of AI to enhance the efficiency of scientific research. The practices presented highlighted the relevance of adopting digital solutions in the social and humanitarian sphere.
