On August 21, 2025, within the framework of the creative project “School of Literary Mastery for Writers”, a lecture meeting was held with scholars from the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies (IPhPR). The event became a significant contribution to the development of the intellectual and creative potential of aspiring authors striving for a deeper understanding of social processes, spiritual foundations, and the cultural identity of modern Kazakhstan.

With a welcoming speech and an introductory lecture, the Director General of IPhPR, Doctor of Sociological Sciences Aigul Sadvokassova, addressed the participants. In her remarks, she emphasized that a writer is not only a creator of artistic expression but also a thinker who plays an important role in shaping public consciousness and spiritual culture.

Representatives of the institute’s academic community also shared their insights with the participants:
• Serik Nurmuratov, Professor, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Director of the Center for World and Kazakh Philosophy, delivered a lecture “The Profound Dimensions of Society’s Spirituality: Epistemological Foundations.” He explored the philosophical foundations of spirituality and their importance for shaping national self-consciousness and literary worldview.
• Almasbek Shagyrybai, PhD, Director of the Center for Religious Studies, presented on “The Concept of State Policy in the Religious Sphere. Registered Religious Associations in Our Country.” His talk focused on the pressing challenges of religious diversity and the mechanisms of state interaction with faith communities.
• Nurken Aitymbetov, PhD, Senior Researcher at the Center for Comparative Political Studies, gave a lecture on “National Identity and Political Culture: At the Crossroads of Civic and Ethnic Paradigms.” He discussed political culture, models of identity, and the sociocultural features of contemporary Kazakhstani society.

The topics of the lectures spanned a wide spectrum—from the philosophy of spirituality to state policy in the religious sphere and issues of sociocultural transformation. A special atmosphere was created by the lively interaction between lecturers and the audience.

Participants actively shared their reflections and asked thought-provoking questions. At one point during the meeting, a collective poem was composed—an impromptu creation inspired by the lectures, which became a vivid illustration of the fusion of scholarly knowledge and artistic inspiration.

The event took place in a warm and intellectually rich atmosphere. The lecturers noted the high level of audience engagement and the participants’ aspiration to infuse their works with deep philosophical and social meaning.

The “School of Literary Mastery for Writers” project continues its mission of uniting science and creativity, opening new horizons of professional and spiritual growth for its participants.
