On December 10, 2025, Yermerk Toktarov, Deputy General Director of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies, took part in an extended ceremonial meeting of the Academic Council dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Ziyabek Yermukhanovich Kabuldinov, Director of the Chokan Valikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, and Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the event, Z.E. Kabuldinov presented his annual report and the new scientific publications of 2025, and participants discussed current issues related to the development of historical scholarship.

In his address, Y. Toktarov, on behalf of the Institute and its General Director, extended sincere congratulations to Ziyabek Yermukhanovich on his anniversary and highlighted his outstanding contribution to the advancement of Kazakhstan’s historical science. He also emphasized the importance of continued collaboration and scholarly cooperation among institutions within the humanities sector.
