In Almaty, with the participation of the city’s Akim, Darkhan Satybaldy, a round table was held on the topic: “A New Progressive Constitution as the Foundation of Our Unity: Education, Science, Innovation, Culture.” The event took place at the House of Friendship, bringing together experts, scholars, and representatives of public organizations.

Opening the meeting, the head of the city noted that the Basic Law must meet the demands of the time and be updated in response to societal needs.

According to him, constitutional changes represent not only the renewal of norms and institutions, but also an important stage in society’s reflection on its responsibility for the country’s future.

 Aigul Sadvokassova, Director General of the Institute for Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies, took part in the round table.

Participants of the round table expressed support for the constitutional reforms, emphasizing that updating the Basic Law is essential for the development of public dialogue and a modern legal system.
