Meeting with a Representative of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation

On July 17, 2026, the Institute for Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies under the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a meeting between Aigul Sadvokassova, Director General of the Institute, and Christian Echle, Head of the Asia and Pacific Department at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Berlin.
Christian Echle oversees the Foundation’s activities in 21 countries, including Kazakhstan, and coordinates seven regional programs implemented across Asia.
During the meeting, the parties discussed Kazakhstan’s current stage of development, the present state and future prospects of Kazakh–German relations, as well as potential areas for further cooperation between the Institute and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
Aigul Sadvokassova briefed the guest on the reforms being implemented under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and presented the Institute’s current research projects and academic priorities.
For his part, Christian Echle introduced the Foundation’s ongoing initiatives and its key areas of activity. Both sides expressed their interest in further strengthening professional dialogue and expanding bilateral cooperation.
