On the occasion of the Day of Science Workers, the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies of the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces the release of the first issue of our new academic journal, SOCIOLOGY.KZ.

The new journal has been launched by the Institute as a specialized academic platform dedicated to current issues in sociology and adjacent disciplines. The core mission of the journal is to promote the development of scholarly discussion, support the publication of contemporary research, and foster the academic understanding of key social processes in Kazakhstan and in a broader international context.

The first issue covers a wide range of topics, including digital society, public opinion, migration, demographics, sociology of religion, as well as gender and youth studies. This reflects the aspiration to make SOCIOLOGY.KZ an open platform for professional exchange of ideas and research findings.

The editorial board invites sociologists, philosophers, political scientists, scholars of religion, historians, economists, as well as early-career researchers to publish their articles in SOCIOLOGY.KZ.

We are confident that the consolidation of efforts within the academic community will contribute to continuing development of social sciences in Kazakhstan and strengthen the publishing culture in academia.
