IPhPR Researchers Participate in a Scientific Roundtable on Women in the History of the Golden Horde

On July 22, 2026, Aigul Sadvokassova, Director General of the Institute for Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies under the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sholpan Dzhamanbalayeva, Deputy Director General for Research, and researchers from the Center for World and Kazakh Philosophy participated in the scientific roundtable “Women in the History of the Golden Horde: Power, Diplomacy, and Culture.”
The event was organized by the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University.
The roundtable focused on the political, diplomatic, cultural, and spiritual roles of women during the Golden Horde period, as well as contemporary approaches to studying women’s leadership in the medieval states of Eurasia.
The event brought together leading scholars from Kazakhstan and abroad, representatives of universities and research institutes, and members of the expert community. Participants exchanged academic perspectives and emphasized the importance of preserving, promoting, and further researching the historical and cultural heritage of the Golden Horde.
